I’ve been attracted to minimalism throughout my photographic journey. There’s something about reducing a scene to its essence that’s extremely gratifying, as by stripping out the visual clutter one can focus on details that may go unnoticed, otherwise. Minimally Speaking, my images are strongly influenced by my background in graphic design, and I often see my final image in my mind’s eye. Photographing minimalism is a very meditative experience for me – I look closely, focus, and the rest just slips away.
