I’ve long been drawn to scenes of construction and renovation, and often find them more visually interesting than the completed work. New York City provides a wealth of these colorful photographic opportunities.

NYC is always in a state of flux, but seeing this type of activity is a sign of optimism, and bodes well for the future. Whether the familiar orange mesh fencing, complicated scaffolding, or simple bins, I enjoy bringing these Accoutrements of Construction to life.
